Three times Andrew Tate’s comments on women enraged social media

Andrew Tate has been getting a lot of spotlight on social media lately, but some of his comments about women have pissed others off.

The former American-British kickboxer has been buzzing online in recent weeks, from his podcast appearances to live broadcasts with Twitch stars.

British viewers may remember his brief stint as Big Brother when he appeared on the reality series in 2016.

Besides being huge on the internet right now, the controversial Tate has made the rounds online about the comments he made about women and gender equality.

When I explain why he needs power over women

During an appearance on the Barstool Sports podcast, Tate offered his thoughts on why he believes he needs to have power over women.

“I think as a man I have to pay for the first date,” he explained. “I think I should open the car door, protect it, and save it [for her]. I believe [if] She is my woman, she has to come to me with her problems and I have to fix them.

“[If] That makes me a terrible sexist, okay. You agree with the baseline and everyone agrees with the foundations of what I’m saying, but when I build on it, they try to pretend I’m sexist.”

“By extension,” he continued, “if I have responsibility for it, I must have some degree of authority.”

After the interview was announced, many expressed their disapproval of Tate’s comments, one wrote on Twitter: “I hate how Andrew Tate would start by saying something reasonable like ‘I think all women are equal to men and should be respected’, but then by saying some stupid ** * Like “As long as men have complete power and control over them.”

Another Twitter user commented, “Andrew Tate equates to a toxic feminist. They both have the right idea but not the best way to implement their idea.”

Meanwhile, another user said that women and men should be treated equally and wrote: “Why does a man pay for a first date? Equal rights, equal pay. Why does a man open a woman’s car door? She can open her own door. In fact, she can open He has a man’s door, too.”

When an old video of him appeared

Tate was fired from Big Brother in 2016 after a video of him appeared to show him hitting a woman, The Sun reported at the time.

He defended the video and claimed the incident was merely a “role-play”.

As reported by The Sun, Tate said, “A longer version of the video shows us laughing as I beat myself up saying ‘It doesn’t hurt’.”

“I am still friends with her and she is in the UK with me now. I would never hit a woman.”

1 Twitter user watched the video chirp: “Andrew Tate was kicked out of the Big Brother house when a video went viral of him hitting a woman with a belt and wanting him back?”

When he said he wouldn’t let his girlfriend go out alone

Last month, Tate had a heated discussion with Twitch star xQc as they clashed over their views on relationships and gender equality.

In the live video, Tate said he would never allow a “female” who was with her to go to the club alone and stated, “One of the best things about being a man is to be territorial and to be able to say ‘This is mine’.” “

The comments didn’t quite match up with xQc, who said during the discussion: “I can justify [the argument] If most of the girls I’ve dated have an IQ of someone who can’t move, think, or do anything, and gets stuck on the side of the sidewalk but that doesn’t make sense in the real world.”
