Important Message to Newly Trained Teachers Concerning NSS Certificate and Posting. It has emerged that a lot of Newly Trained Teachers from the 46 Colleges of Education who completed their one(1) year National Service to the Nation, have still not collected their National Service Certificate.

A situation which is worrying because the National Service Certificate is one the several documents to be submitted to both District and Regional Education Offices when Posting is released for 2021 Batch of Newly Trained Teachers from the 46 Colleges of Education.

Information reaching this News Portal suggests that Newly Trained Teachers will either receive a phone for the delivery to be made or be made to visit their District National Service Offices for such certificates.

There has been an uprising tension among Newly Trained Teachers concerning the release of 2021 Posting of NQTs nationwide. Previously Postings is released in December and then Newly Trained are asked to report to school in January.

This Portal will like to Inform NQTs to remain patient as Ghana Education Service finalizes decision to release reopening dates for everyone. It is after, reopening date is known that GES releases Postings.

Meanwhile there’s a rumor that the Management of the Ghana Education Service has announced the opening date for Junior High Schools across the country.

According to GES, Junior High Schools will reopen on 18th January 2022 while Primary schools will also reopen on 25th January 2022.

The different dates for reopening of Basic Schools is as a result of the recent National Standardized Test conducted for Basic four pupils where the JHS vacated on 10th December 2021 leaving the Primary schools to also vacate on 17th December 2021.
