Bruno Tonioli (born November 25, 1955) is an Italian choreographer, ballerina, latin dancer, and television personality. He has judged the British television dance competition Strictly Come Dancing as well as her American adaptation of Dancing with the Stars on ABC TV in the United States. Tonioli co-created and appeared on the BBC talent show DanceX, as well as its American counterpart Dance War: Bruno vs.
Tonioli competed in, but did not win, a UK competition, for selection to take part in the 1980 Eurovision Song Contest as part of the Duke and the Aces group. Tonioli has worked as a choreographer in the music industry for artists such as Tina Turner, Sting, Elton John, Rolling Stones, Freddie Mercury, Cinita, Boy George, Dead O Alive, Bananarama and Duran Duran. He appeared in Elton John’s video for “I’m Still Standing” (1983).

Kimmy Gibler’s daughter Ramona is the best dancer at Fuller House, and every great dancer needs a great coach. Everyone has learned that at least through the many seasons of Dance Moms. She’s clearly high when she gets a call to audition with a famous Italian dance instructor.
