He has judged the British television dance competition Strictly Come Dancing as well as her American adaptation of Dancing with the Stars on ABC TV in the United States. Tonioli has worked as a choreographer in the music industry for artists such as Tina Turner, Sting, Elton John, Rolling Stones, Freddie Mercury, Cinita, Boy George, Dead O Alive, Bananarama and Duran Duran. He appeared in Elton John’s video for “I’m Still Standing” (1983).
