Kelis claims that Beyoncé did not ask for her permission before sampling her song.
“I said what I said because it’s the truth. You don’t have to like it or agree, facts are facts. If you’re a sheep, keep moving. This will be the talk over your head. I didn’t ask for this, but I’m not afraid of it either,” Kelis captioned her video on Instagram.
HITC reached out to Beyoncé for comment on Kelly’s comments. However, at the time this article was published, we had not yet received a response.
