All Pokémon are double poison/earth

Currently, there are only two types of Pokemon Dual Poison/Ground that can be found in the sprawling Pokedex series.

If you check the Half Poison-type Pokemon list, trainers will find two very important pocket monsters at the top of the list, and a new one to be added soon.

  • nidoquin
  • Nidoking
  • Paldean Wooper (coming soon)

So far, Nidoqueen and Nidoking have been the only Dual Poison/Ground Pokémon found in any Pokémon game so far. But that will change with the release of Pokemon Violet & Scarlet later this year when Paldean Wooper enters the scene.

And Wooper wasn’t the only pocket monster to have taken a territorial shape, with the current roster including Paldean Wooper, Fidough and Cetitan. However, while these other two monsters will definitely amplify your collection, neither of them offer much in terms of exclusivity when it comes to dual genres.

The official Pokemon description for Paldean Wooper reads:

Paldean Wooper, the poisonous fish Pokémon!

In ancient times, Wooper lived under water in the Paldea region. But it seems that after losing a struggle for land, they began to live in swamps on the land, and in order to avoid drought while living on land, they began to cover their bodies with a poisonous membrane.

Wooper’s gills have hardened thanks to living on land for a long time. Their bodies are heavy, and they move slowly, but they can protect themselves by releasing a strong poisonous liquid from their gills. You may see poisoned Pokémon in areas where whoopers live.

  • Height: 1’4″
  • Weight: 24.3 lbs.
  • Capacity: detox point / water absorption.
