The new Apex Legends update released on July 22
Today’s Apex Legends update is small in size and shouldn’t cause much disruption to those not logged in. However, it should be noted that some players may be kicked out of matches due to the patching process.
No official patch notes have been released for the new Apex Legends update, and it’s not clear at the moment if this little patch calls for it. However, the game’s official Trello update was made on July 22 with these changes which can be found below:
Fixes listed as coming in future patches:
- Players in certain ranks do not receive the correct ranked rewards for certain seasons.
- Legendary Bangalore Skin: Using tactics while aiming down will briefly obscure the player’s view.
No other information was shared today regarding the current Apex patch, and fans should wait to see if more is shared during the evening. There is a chance that some rebalancing has been done in certain areas of the game or that certain issues with the last event have been fixed.
Today also saw a number of memos shared through the game Official Twitter account This hints at the next character coming into the game. With entities involved five years before the game is set, it leaves the possibility of being associated with any new character.
Some fans believe it could be Vantage, a sniper-focused character said to be coming to Apex Legends during 2022. Diary entries come with this comment from Respawn: “You have to keep yourself busy when you’re one of two people on the planet.”
More hints of the new Hunter are expected to be dropped, shall we get any closer to releasing it later this year.
