Tonight’s Mega Millions raffle is set to be one of the best-selling charts ever as the jackpot crosses $1 billion for the third time in US history.
No one won the $810 million jackpot Tuesday night, which means the total has gone up to $1.02 billion, and the lucky winner can take home $602.5 million in cash.
It’s the 30th draw in this Grand Prix that started on April 19 after a Tennessee native won the prize on April 15.
Launched in 2002, the American lottery game reached $1.53 billion in October 2018 and $1.05 billion in January 2021, and another roll could bring the biggest jackpot ever.
