After a long hiatus, the release date and time for Black Clover chapter 332 has been confirmed with the manga returning for its final arc.
It’s been a tough few months for fans of the Black Clover series with both the manga and the anime notably absent from their weekly schedule.
The original Yuki Tabata series reached an “undefined hiatus” in April 2022 and since then, information regarding the series’ return has been tightly kept.
However, excellent news for the Black Clover community is spreading like wildfire online after Viz Media confirmed the release date of Chapter 332 and the return of the manga as we build the final story line in the series.
Why did Black Clover manga take such a long break?
Over the weeks leading up to the global release of Chapter 331 in April 2022, rumors were circulating online that the Black Clover manga series was preparing to take an extended hiatus so that author Yuki Tabata could prepare for the series’ final story arc.
The first rumors about the possible hack came from the Weekly Shonen Jump News Twitter page, which advertiser On April 20, “According to leaks, Yuki Tabata’s Black Clover will enter a short hiatus starting with issue #23 of Weekly Shonen Jump.”
The page will then reconfirm this information only a few hours later, replying to the original post and addingYuki Tabata’s Black Clover will enter a 3-month period of rest starting with version 23, in order to prepare for the ‘final arc/chapter’ of the series.
Sadly, Viz Media then shared an official blog post regarding the gap shortly after, confirming that it was planning a three-month hiatus. As part of the post, it was emphasized that “to prepare for the new story line, black clover On a short break starting with the next edition.” Adding that “it was decided to let him rest for a little while before starting to build the new arc.”
“The rest period is scheduled to be around three months, and the return date will be announced in a future issue of Weekly Shonen Jump. Tabata then ended the statement by apologizing to fans who were looking forward to the manga’s continuation. Explaining how “I plan to do my best to make Black Clover the best I can and give him a proper conclusion. So, I would appreciate if you could wait a little longer.”
Black Clover chapter 332 release date and time
Viz Media has officially updated the series’ online page for the Black Clover manga series and included a note that “New chapter [is] Coming on July 31, 2022”, which means that Chapter 332 will be released for most international fans on Sunday, July 31.
Fortunately, Chapter 332 of Black Clover will be published on Viz Media and Manga Plus from the following international times on July 31:
- Pacific Time – 8 AM
- Eastern time – 11 am
- British time – 4pm
- European time – 5 pm
- India Time – 8:30 PM
- Philippines time – 11 pm
- Australia Central Time – 12:30 AM
Interestingly, this means that according to original reports for a three-month break, which would have set a provisional release date for Chapter 332 around Sunday, August 7, Black Clover manga will return a little earlier than expected — but no one is going to complain about The series resumed a week ago.

Unfortunately, the English-language version of the manga is a bit behind the domestic schedule, with only 29 of the total 32 volumes available to international fans.

Black Clover movie will be released next year
With news of the highly anticipated resumption of the Clover manga series, fans are looking forward to what the future holds; Specifically, the theatrical anime movie.
