On Friday, July 29, rapper Bun B’s Trill Burgers won Good Morning America’s Best Burger in America.
The rapper and his team looked ecstatic when they received the award in Times Square. The Get a throw The singer looked confused next to co-host Michael Strahan while holding a trophy in one hand and a $10,000 check in the other.
Bun B took to Instagram to share this important moment with his fans.
Bun B started Trill Burgers in 2021. The rapper’s food company has done several popups since then at events like Rolling Loud Texas, Miami, Something In The Water, and Coachella.
Because the company is still new, Trill Burgers’ list is small. They only sell three burgers, one of which is vegan:
- OJ Trail Burger: Comes with two patties of ground beef, mashed and thinly sliced to create a brown, crunchy edge. Each pancake contains melted American cheese mixed with a potato roll.
- Grilled Onion Burger: It comes with two pieces of 44 crunchy chicken pieces topped with American cheese and grilled onions.

At the time of writing, all three are sold out on their website.
A choice of side dishes includes French fries and brownies, while their selection of non-alcoholic drinks includes Coke, Sprite, Fanta Orange, Root Beer, Mr Pibb, tea, Diet tea, and water.
Rapper Burger wins GMA
Rapper Bun B, whose real name is Bernard James Freeman, co-owns Trill Burgers with restaurateur Andy Nguyen of Bored & Hungry, and publicist Nick Scurfield, who owns another prominent Houston company called Burger-chan.
The judges were Top Boss Alumna Dawn Burrell, KTRK-TV character Chauncy Glover and professional bowler Jonathan Joseph. The judges voted unanimously for Trill’s Saucy OG Trill Burger.
The delicious-looking burger consists of beef patties, a secret “trail sauce”, onions, and pickles wrapped between a Martin Potato Roll.
The 49-year-old rapper took to his Instagram to celebrate his victory.
He wrote, “We did it! Trill Burgers was named America’s Best Burger by @goodmorningamerica.”
Fans congratulate Bon Bi on the win
Many fans took to Twitter to congratulate the rapper and his team. Others claimed that they now wanted to try Trill Burgers.

“It’s 2022 and Bun B on the GMA is competing in a taste test for the best burger in America. It serves Trill Burgers, you all! I love it,” A third fan claimed.
