Chrissy Teigen’s due date could be close as star has been waiting “so long” to announce

Chrissy Teigen is expecting another child with husband John Legend.

The 36-year-old announced the happy news on Instagram, two years after she sadly lost her son Jack at 20 weeks of age in 2020.

She described the devastating miscarriage in an Instagram post, noting that she had to give birth to a stillborn baby who sadly passed away due to partial placental abruption.

“Joey has filled our house and our hearts once again,” the supermodel said in her pregnancy announcement this week, but how far has she come?

Chrissy didn’t give an exact date, but she did give us some clues…

Chrissy Teigen’s due date could be soon

On Instagram, Chrissy revealed that she had wanted to announce the pregnancy for a while but was so scared after her tragic miscarriage.

She hinted that she already has a lot of pregnancy due dates, and her baby bump looks really big already, so we can assume that her due date won’t be too far away.

“On every date I said to myself, ‘Okay, if it’s healthy today, I’ll announce it,'” she wrote, “but then I sigh to hear the heartbeat and decide I’m still very nervous.”

“I don’t think I’ll ever go out of a date with more enthusiasm than nerves, but so far, everything is perfect and beautiful and I feel hopeful and amazing.”

“Well brother, it was too hard to keep this up for so long!” The star continued, telling fans that she’s been hiding it for a really long time.

While we can’t predict the exact due date, we can assume she will be at least six months old and it won’t be long before she arrives.

The star lost baby Jack in 2020

In October 2020, Chrissie revealed that she and John unfortunately lost their child midway through their pregnancy.

“We are shocked and in the kind of deep pain you only hear about, the kind of pain we’ve never felt before,” she wrote alongside a black and white photo of her in hospital.

“We were never able to stop the bleeding and give our baby the fluids he needed, despite bags and blood transfusions. It wasn’t enough,” the 36-year-old added.

The star revealed that she had decided to call her stillborn baby Jack and said, “I am so sorry that the first few moments of your life have been met with so many complications, that we couldn’t give you the home you need to survive.”

“Thank you to everyone who sent us positive energy, thoughts and prayers. We feel all your love and we really appreciate you.”

Chrissy and John have two kids

“We are so grateful for the lives we have, to our adorable kids Luna and Miles, for all the amazing things we were able to experience,” she continued.

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend already have two children, six-year-old Luna Simone Stevens and four-year-old Miles Theodore Stevens.

In an Instagram post in October 2015, Chrissy announced that she was expecting her first child and revealed that she had been trying for a baby for a long time.

“As many of you know, we have been trying for a while to have a baby. It wasn’t easy, but we kept trying because we couldn’t wait to bring our first child into the world and grow our family.”

“We are so excited that it is finally happening. Thank you for all your love and good wishes. I look forward to all the tummy tucks!”

Luna was born in 2016 and a year and a half later, they revealed that they were expecting their second child, Miles, who was born in May 2018.

Chrissy enlisted the help of baby Luna to announce the pregnancy, who looked at her stomach and said adorably, “Baby.”
