Call of Duty Warzone servers down
It’s not clear what caused the connection issues tonight or how long they might last across PlayStation, Xbox and PC platforms.
Many fans are currently planning on Warzone server queues, which end with a connection error message.
Estimated wait times are given but can change quickly, according to those trying to access essential services.
Activision has confirmed the outage, which also affects other Call of Duty game, such as Black Ops 4.
A message from Activision adds: “Connection drop across titles listed: We are currently experiencing connectivity issues. This incident is under investigation.”
Affected games include the following titles:
Call of Duty: Black Ops III on Windows
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 on PlayStation 4
Call of Duty: Vanguard on all platforms
Call of Duty: Warzone on all platforms.
More news and updates are expected to be shared by Activision and Call of Duty support teams if tonight’s problems persist for more than an hour. Players across multiple platforms seem to be affected which is why so many connection error reports have been shared online. Warzone was recently updated with new content for Season 4, including new movie bind skins, and a new Zombies mode to play on Rebirth Island. There are also reports that the game’s next season could be the last before Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2.0 arrive later in 2022.
