Alfredo Pedulla said that Tottenham Hotspur may hold talks with Roma manager Thiago Pinto over Nicolo Zaniolo.
Well-known and respected journalist claimed that Roma director Pinto made a trip to London.
Talks may take place with Tottenham over Zaniolo, according to the report, who added that Roma are ready to sell the 23-year-old Italy international attacking midfielder for €45-50m (£37.85-42.17m).
Could Tottenham Hotspur join Nicolo Zaniolo from Roma?
In our opinion, if Tottenham Hotspur pay what Roma want, they will be able to sign Nicolo Zaniolo in the summer transfer window.
Tottenham boss Antonio Conte personally wants the Italy international attacking midfielder, who was described by former Roma player Zbigniew Bunic as having “incredible potential” on Radio New Sound in July.
And if Roma are willing to sell him for a price, Tottenham should pay him, or at least consider paying him so that Conte can start working with him immediately.
Zaniolo made 23 starts and five substitute matches in Serie A last season.
The Italian international scored two goals and assisted two goals in those matches.
Tottenham will be a better and stronger team with Zaniolo in it.
