Emily O’Hara Ratajkowski, born June 7, 1991, is an American Model, Actress, and Author. Ratajkowski, who was born in London to American parents and raised in San Diego, began acting as a child before playing a recurring role on the Nickelodeon series iCarly (2009-2010).

Her modeling debut was on the cover of erotic magazine’s March 2012 issue, which led to her appearing in two music videos: Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines” and Maroon 5’s “Love Somebody”. Ratajkowski made her feature film debut in Gone Girl as the lover of Ben Affleck’s character (2014).

Other films she has appeared in include Entourage (2015), We Are Your Friends (2015), I Feel Pretty (2018), Welcome Home (2018), as well as the mini-series The Spoils Before Dying (2015) and the anthology series Easy (2016). She appeared in Sports Illustrated swimwear issues in 2014 and 2015, and made her professional fashion debut for Marc Jacobs at New York Fashion Week in 2015.

She has since walked the Miu Miu runway in Paris and the Bottega Veneta, Dolce & Gabbana and Versace runways in Milan. During Super Bowl 50 (2016), she appeared in a Buick Super Bowl commercial and became a spokeswoman for brands such as DKNY, The Frye Company, Kerastase, Paco Rabanne and DL1961.

As a spokesperson for Planned Parenthood, she advocates for women’s health issues. Ratajkowski, a self-described feminist, has received support and criticism for her views on sexual expression. Metropolitan Books will release its collection of articles, My Body, in November 2021.

Emily Ratajkowski wore a stunning dress at the 2022 Met Gala on Monday night (May 2) at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. The 30-year-old then attended one of the later Met Gala parties, where she lost a pair of shoes while walking to the venue. She was able to get her shoes back.
