Every now and then, you stumble upon a show where you fall head over heels but you can’t see why audiences aren’t applauded as much.
It depends on your taste in genre. If you’re a fan of all things supernatural, you’ve probably found an instant favorite back home: Fort Salem.
The American drama, created by Elliot Lawrence, premiered on Freeform in 2020 and soon presented the audience with the story of three witches who were drafted into the US Army.
It’s definitely been a wild ride so far and fans were excited to see it renewed for Season 3, which landed in June 2022. Sadly, it’s time once again to think about what the future holds for this unique and captivating show.

Is Motherland: Fort Salem renewed for season 4?
No, Freeform has confirmed that Motherland: Fort Salem will conclude with its third and final season.
Deadline broke the news in August 2021, announcing the show’s return at the same time as its final ending.
While this is frustrating news, it’s worth addressing the fact that – at the time of writing – there are still a large number of episodes to expect. Check out the rest of the Freeform table below:

Last season is sure to be full of fun and Deadline reports that Tara Duncan – president of Freeform – has already pitched her ideas at the end of the road.
“We’re excited to bring back Motherland: Fort Salem for season three,” she explained. “I am grateful to Eliot and the entire Motherland team. They have created a truly immersive legend that has resonated with fans since day one, and I know this final chapter will continue to deliver.”
Executive Producer Elliot Lawrence also commended:
“Every time we return to the world of Motherland: Ford Salem, it’s a pleasure and an honor. I can’t wait to bring Season 3 to the world. We plan to ramp up the crazy stakes at the end with an epic, frightening, and satisfying journey, while delving into the origins of the ancient witch” .
