Four Students of one of Ghana’s top schools, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology have been meted out with different degrees of punishments for some unwholesome acts.
The Four, Mr. Rexford Joseph Bonney, Mr. Baffour Owusu Konadu, Mr. Patrick Dwamena Sekyere and Mr. Dwumah Ramsey Ohene-Tutu have either been Dismissed, Suspended or Rusticated for their offenses.
Mr. Rexford had his punishment of Rustication for two(2) Academic Years served him on for his Involvement in the unauthorized installation of “Odikro” at Unity Hall. Mr. Baffour has also been Rusticated for One Academic Year for Gross Misconduct and bringing the University’s name into disrepute.
Mr. Patrick Dwamena has been suspended indefinitely for extortion of monies from students with the promise of securing them accommodation at GUSSS and SRC hostels. Mr. Dwumah has been Dismissed for stealing two (2) laptops from the Main University Library on two different occasions.
