Gaara Naruto

Gaara is developed as a counterpoint to the series’ title character, Naruto Uzumaki, as the two share a traumatic childhood and were born under similar circumstances.

In order to create his final design, which was also changed in later arcs to offer an easier design to Gaara, his designs and name underwent significant changes.

Akira Ishida portrays Gaara in the Japanese version of the series, while Liam O’Brien does so in the English dub.
