As part of his father’s plan to obtain a weapon to rebuild their community, he was created as a demonic host. However, Gaara becomes a ruthless killer who believes his goal is to kill his enemies as a result of a combination of factors, including his avoidance by the villagers of Sunagakure, his early inability to control the tailed beast, and the idea that his tardiness was called by his mother who cursed the village.
