GES Promotion Portal Opened for registration
The Ghana Education Service (GES) has invited applications from suitably qualified serving officers or teachers for consideration to the grade of Deputy Director, Assistant Director 1, Assistant Director 11, and Principal Superintendent.
In a letter to all regional directors of Education, the GES said suitably qualified applicant s should consider the following qualifications before considering themselves for application.
Deputy Director

An applicant should have been promoted to the grade of Assistant Director 1 on or before 2015 and should have been continuously at post since date except for the period of approved study leave of absence.
- Assistant Director 1
An applicant should have been promoted to the grade of Assistant Director 11 on or before 2015 and should have been continuously at post since date except for the period of approved study leave of absence.
Assistant Director 11
An applicant should have been promoted to the grade of Principal Superintendent on or before 2015 and should have been continuously at post since date except for the period of approved study leave of absence.
Principal Superintendent
An applicant should have been promoted to the grade of Senior Superintendent 1 on or before 2015 and should have been continuously at post since date except for the period of approved study leave of absence.
Staff with a Masters Degree or PhD
According to the GES, for the avoidance of doubt, applicants who wish to rely on Masters and or Doctorate Degrees to join the Promotion Exercise should note the following:
Masters/PhD Programme should be o the approved GES course of study.
The Masters/PhD Certificate should not have been obtained before the previous promotion.
Applicants should have obtained their certificates on or before 2017 but not before your last promotion.
Mode of Application
Each applicant should complete the application form online and upload a passport size photograph as well.
An applicant’s form must be supported by all previous promotion letters and certificates.
The completed application form should be uploaded onto the website by 23rd November 2021.
