GES to Recruit 40,000 newly trained teachers this year, 2021. 40,000 teachers are said to be recruited into GES in the year 2021
According to the minister of tourism who represented the education Minister and the President, the NPP government is willing to improve the student teacher ratio
Speaking further, he assured that, teachers are at the heart of the government that is why the one teacher one laptop project was initiated to improve the teaching and learning process
“since 2017,the GES has recruited over 93,000 teachers. This year alone, the service is hoping to recruit 40,000 more teachers”
The Ghana Education Service is yet to open the recruitment portal for 2020 trained teachers.
According to reports, the TTAG is expected to meet the service on 7th October 2021 to find out why the portal has not been opened yet
The report from TTAG also says that the 2019 backlogs will be recruited based on financial clearance
