Payment for GES recruitment process whenever portal is opened varies each year depending on what the Ghana Education Service says.
Trustnewsgh.com gathered that, last year graduates from both the universities and the colleges of education paid around 40 cedis for the purchase of the recruitment voucher from gespromotions.gov.gh
This year, as we wait for the recruitment portal to be opened in the September this year, 2021 prepare for an amount of 40 cedis for the purchase of the GES voucher and other monies for the application process.
In other news, there have been reports that GES has opened it’s portal for the 2021. Please disregard. This is the purported post.

2021 GES RECRUITMENT PORTAL OPENED
As recruitment is ongoing for the 2020 College of Education graduates, many Graduates from the various Educational Universities have been left with many questions as to when it’ll be their turn.
The Ghana Education Recruitment Portal was initially opened for the recruitment of 2020 College of Education year group.
Although appointment has not been given out yet for that year group, application has been opened to recruit 2019 College of Education batch of students.
Speaking to Daily Graphic on 21st September 2021, the Director General of GES; Prof. Kwasi Opoku-Amankwa gave assurance that University Graduate Teachers will be given the opportunity to apply for recruitment right after the portal is closed for those of College of Education; 2020 year group. He said “the next batch will be for those from the universities and so they do not have to be worried”.
Prof. Opoku-Amankwa reiterated that recruitment for Graduate Teachers from Universities will be for only those who have written and passed the Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE) as well as the mandatory National Service as required by Ghana.
