CDL Tournament Weekend has begun, and gamers eager to tune in can do so with a chance to earn a Modern Warfare 2 code for the upcoming MW2 beta.
And while no one is guaranteed to get into the Modern Warfare 2 beta by watching the weekend’s events, there will be plenty of COD fans who will.
Here’s how you can put yourself in a random CDL Championship drop this weekend, and have a chance to win a MW2 Beta Code.
How to get Modern Warfare 2 Codes for MW2 Beta
To have any chance of earning a Modern Warfare 2 code for the upcoming MW2 Beta, you’ll need to watch live matches on YouTube, CallofDutyLeague.com, or the COD companion app on Sunday, August 7, 2022.
You will also need to make sure that you link your Activision account to your YouTube account and watch it live on the available platforms mentioned above while signed in with a linked account to earn rewards.
There are two different reward tiers available this weekend, including dual XP tokens redeemable in Call of Duty Vanguard and Call of Duty: Warzone, which will be available throughout the 2022 Call of Duty League regular season.
There will also be daily rewards that offer tokens and cosmetics that can be used in any game, with all of them unlocked after three hours of screen time. The biggest bonus offered is Modern Warfare 2 Beta Codes, which will be part of random drops and will not be a guaranteed unlock.
However, if you want a chance to win one, you should tune in to CDL Championship Weekend on Sunday, August 7th, starting at 11:30 AM PT. Activision warns that this deal is only available in certain regions, and a minimum of 45 minutes of Championship Sunday viewing time will be required to qualify for a random cut.
It was also confirmed that contest winners will receive a notification on callofdutyleague.com and the COD Companion app if they are lucky enough to earn a CDL Drop.
