Marvel Studios closed the San Diego Comic-Con panel in style Saturday with the appearance of the first teaser for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
The trailer also showed our first official look at Tenoch Huerta Namor, leading many fans to wonder if he’ll be the villain in the sequel.
Directed by Ryan Coogler and starring Letitia Wright, Lupita Nyong’o, Danny Gurira, Winston Duke, Florence Kasumba, and more, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever shows a union in the Kingdom of Wakanda against the Atlanteans after the death of King T’Challa.

Is Namor evil in Black Panther 2?
Yes, Namor is introduced as the villain in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. However, this does not mean that it will remain so.
Passing by the first trailer we saw, Namur will declare war against Wakanda. It looks like he’ll unleash the full power of Atlantis to fight the Dora Milaje.
Being one of the oldest characters in Marvel Comics, Namor has threatened and helped many of the characters we have come to know and love during his existence. However, at least for his introduction in the MCU, he will play the role of a villain.
Namur powers
Namur is the king of Atlantis and goes by the Sub-Mariner, who previously competed for T’Challa in the comics.
Born with exceptional powers, Namur can talk to and control many creatures within the ocean and has the ability to breathe underwater and heal himself.
Equipped with super strength, Namur can manipulate the sea as he pleases, which he did in the comics during the Wakanda Conquest by using his phoenix power to cause a tsunami.

Marvel fans react to Namor
Marvel fandom is just excited to see Namor debut in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
It was previously rumored that he will make his debut in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness as a member of the Illuminati, but instead, his debut will remain in Black Panther 2.
Many fans can’t wait to see Namor in action and watch the MCU expand the roster of comic characters even further:
