Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp told the club’s official website that the Reds will face big tests from Eric ten Hag’s Manchester United and Newcastle United’s Eddie Howe this season.
Klopp made the comments while discussing the challenges Liverpool will face from other teams in the Premier League this season.
The Liverpool boss was asked about the bigger tests he will have from Manchester City, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal.
Jurgen Klopp vs Newcastle United and Manchester United
Klopp responded, as reported by the official Liverpool website: “And [Manchester] United… and Newcastle… that’s how it is. always like this.
“The season is over, I did an analysis or not, and then it’s already clear. So, the next stage is going to be more difficult. That’s how it is. Yes, I think all the teams have improved a lot.
“Everyone is trying to improve the transfer market, using the experience from last season and that kind of thing. The only thing we have to think about is our own stuff and that’s what’s necessary anyway.
“If the other teams don’t do anything better than last year, for example, and it’s hard enough, we have to improve anyway and that’s what we’re trying; the little tweak.
“Building on the things we know [that] We can do and get there [with] More variety and things like that. Being more dominant in the moments with or without the ball.”
to encourage
From our point of view, Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp’s comments on Manchester United and Newcastle United are very encouraging for the Red Devils and the Arabs.
Comments indicate how high Klopp’s rating is between Manchester United and Newcastle.
Now, the Red Devils are unlikely to contend for the Premier League title this season, but they will certainly aim to reach the top four.
Newcastle have just started their big project, and while they won’t be competing for the UEFA Champions League spots, they are certainly hoping to end up in the top ten.
Liverpool are among the favorites to win the Premier League title this season, but as Klopp’s comments indicate, he’s not taking it lightly.
