Kate Ferdinand revealed the tragic loss of her baby in an Instagram post. The unborn child was her second with her husband, Rio Ferdinand.
Kate took to Instagram on Wednesday (July 27, 2022) to update fans about her pregnancy, but unfortunately, this was tragic news.
In a black and white photo, the 31-year-old revealed that she had a miscarriage. Several former TOWIE stars have shown their support including Sam Faiers and Georgia Kousoulou. Her husband, soccer player-turned-expert, Rio Ferdinand, has not commented publicly on the situation.

In the ad, Ferdinand (née Wright) can be seen wearing a hospital gown and reflecting on her last visit to her eldest son, Cree.
“Last time I was in this hospital I had CREE, but this time it was because our baby didn’t have a heartbeat at the 12-week scan and I had to have surgery,” she wrote.
The family was “very excited and planning a space for our new baby,” and Kate kept quiet by noting that “unfortunately life doesn’t go as we planned it.”
There’s so much to say, but somehow I can’t find the words. The former reality star added, “Totally broken and heartbroken…but I couldn’t be more grateful for the hugs I got from my big kids (ie) who walked in through the door when we arrived Home”.
Several of her celebrity friends and fellow moms sent their condolences, and Fayers wrote, “This is heartbreaking, sending you lots of love and strength xx”
Kosolo and Tia Lineker, niece of Wayne Lineker, added: “I’m so sorry Kate.”
