Drama Lana Parrilla explained on Instagram

On August 3, some users came across an exchange of Lana and Ryan Adams under one of her Instagram photos. In the comments, the couple shared a heart emoji that also sparked rumors that they might be dating.

While the couple has not commented on rumors of their relationship, Lana’s fans saw that she was friendly with Adams. Phoebe Bridgers, his ex-wife Mandy Moore, and five other women accused him of sexual misconduct in February 2019. Adams denied the allegations and, after posting tweets, apologized to anyone who “ever hurt him”. He also described the report as “disturbingly inaccurate”.

Adams, through his attorney, Andrew Brettler, denied the “extremely serious and outlandish accusations”

He came forward and issued an apology via letter in The Daily Mail in 2020. In the lengthy letter, Adams said he was sober and ‘sorry’ for the previous behaviour. He never confessed to his accusers and did not personally target the alleged victims in his letter. No formal charges were brought against Adams.

Adams made headlines again after fans noticed he and Lana were hanging out together. It didn’t take long for social media users to troll the actress. They called her to hang out with Adams and they brought the allegations back into the photo.

The Instagram drama quickly took to Twitter as users started criticizing the actress online.

Some fans defend the star

While there were many who tried to cancel the actress for choosing to befriend Adams, there were others who shared messages of support for her.

Lana also came forward and answered a few of them. in one of TweetsShe came forward and admitted that the backlash didn’t bother her because she had witnessed the worst of it.

She also tweeted the “Culture of Mercy” hashtag. Lana asked people to be more kind after the comments section on Instagram was filled with rude messages.

Lana Barilla issues a statement

By disabling the comments section of her Instagram post, Lana issued a statement regarding the backlash she was receiving.

Lana indicated that she was free to choose who she wanted to be in her life and did not need to “see or read negative comments”.

“They are rude, hurtful and insulting to my intelligence,” the actress wrote. please stop. Thank you.” Lana also noted that she gave people “the benefit of the doubt” and believes in a “culture of compassion.”

The star ended the post by asking people to be kinder to others.
