How did the rumors about Lil Tika’s shooting start?
Pessimism among fans began after several social media posts began spreading the message that the rapper had died.
They were sharing a “Trend News” snapshot that had the headline: “Rapper Lil Tika was shot dead.” The article is dated August 2, 2022.
The content stated: “The rapper” was found dead in his home. Reports say he was shot three times in the chest. Witnesses say the tall person was driving a black Tesla and were also wearing a black Sketchers hoodie and black hoodie.”
The rapper is alive and doing well
For those confused, Trend News is a fake website that is used to write a fake news report and perform a prank. In fact, the end of the article also reads: ‘This is a satirical website. Don’t take it seriously. It’s a joke – it’s humor.’
Unfortunately, if that part gets cut while sharing news online, people will quickly think it’s true. In fact, the rapper is doing well and is focusing on his European tour which is scheduled to begin in October.
