Friday night winning numbers

At the time of writing, no one has come forward to claim the grand prize. However, it’s possible that someone might hold a winning ticket and haven’t checked the Friday night numbers yet.

The Illinois lottery website notes that the winning ticket has been sold out in the state, but there has been no confirmation of this from Mega Millions yet.

The raffle takes place at 11pm every Friday night and is shown live on WBAL-TV, somewhat late. Therefore, the winner may not know it yet.

Friday night’s winning numbers are a staggering $1.28 billion 13, 36, 45, 57, 67 And a huge ball of 14.

If you have a Mega Millions ticket on July 29, check the numbers one last time, just in case you win anything.

If the Illinois site is wrong and no winning ticket is sold again, the jackpot will roll again and could become the biggest jackpot in Mega Millions history.

Two different payment options

If you are lucky enough to match all 6 numbers and win the jackpot, there are two different ways to receive money.

You can choose to have a one-time payment equal to all the cash in your Mega Millions prize pool if you wish.

In this case, the total cash you’ll get from the $1.28 billion jackpot is $747.2 million, but this will also be taxed at 24% — and there are other taxes depending on the state. .

So, the total amount you will win will be about $567.8 million if you choose the lump basin, and it may be less when you add other taxes. However, there is another option.

If you choose the annuity option, the grand prize will be paid out in one immediate payment followed by 29 annual payments over 30 years.

Each payment is 5% larger than the previous one and Mega Millions believes this “helps protect the winners’ lifestyle and purchasing power in periods of inflation.”

How to play Mega Millions

To play Mega Millions, you have to pick five numbers from 1 to 70 and one Mega Ball number from 1 to 25.

You can pick the numbers yourself or select them at random, then they are recorded on your $2 ticket.

The easiest way to buy a ticket is to head over to the Mega Millions website and choose your state, which will then take you to the relevant ticket purchase website.

However, tickets can also be purchased at stores across America including Walmart, CVS, 7-Eleven, and many local stores.

For a chance to win the Mega Millions Jackpot, you can buy tickets up to 15 minutes before the draw.

The numbers are drawn at 11 p.m. ET on Tuesdays and Fridays, meaning tickets can be purchased until 10:45 p.m. online and in stores.

To win the jackpot you must match all six winning numbers – but there are also plenty of other ways to win smaller prizes ranging from the jackpot to $2.

Most states also offer a Megaplier option that costs an additional $1 and increases non-jackpot prizes by 2, 3, 4, or 5 times depending on which Megaplier is drawn.
