One Piece creator Eiichiro Oda said he plans to finish the manga series within three years, but noted that fans could influence those plans.

This week, One Piece author Eiichiro Oda sat down for an interview with Gosho Aoyama, as he outlined his plans for when the popular manga might come to an end.
As transcribed by WSJ_manga on TwitterOda noted, “I shouldn’t really say this out loud, because I’ve been in great shape so far, but so far our goal is three years.”
There were earlier reports that the manga would come to an end in about five years, but Twitter route Explain how there was no direct repetition of [the] 5 years [end goal].
