Drake in the Renaissance

If you’ve ever listened to Beyoncé’s new song, Heated, you’ve probably got a feel for the old-school Drake feel.

Even though he released his new album just last month, it seems Drake has also been busy helping Queen Bey create the perfect song for the hot summer.

However, this isn’t the first time the duo have collaborated. In 2015, Drake unveiled a new song called Can I, featuring Beyoncé as herself.

In fact, it seems that Drake has always been a fan of B, dubbed the 2013 Girls Love Beyoncé.

Renaissance listeners took to social media to talk about the new song, and some claimed they knew it was Drake from just one listen. One user commented: “I knew ‘hot’ was Drake in the first 20 seconds lol.” Another added, “How hot?!? I can hear Drake… his pen is easily recognizable #Renaissance. “

One fan can understand Drake’s choice of album name now, as they wrote on Twitter: “Omg! Listening to Beyoncé’s album explains why Drake called his album “Honestly, Nevermind.”
