A release date and start time have been confirmed when Overwatch Anniversary Remix Vol 3 is released by Blizzard this week.
And while there won’t be a Summer Games event featuring the latest skins and cosmetics, there’s still plenty to check out.
Many fans are counting down until OW2 arrives, but don’t expect servers to be quiet when Overwatch Anniversary Remix Vol 3 kicks off later this week.

When does Overwatch Anniversary Remix Vol 3 start?
The release date and start time for when Overwatch Anniversary Remix Vol 3 Part 3 comes out is 11:00 PT / 14:00 ET, and 19:00 GMT on August 9.
That’s when the other remixes kicked in, and the previous summer Overwatch games kicked off as well.
Any changes to the regular schedule will be shared across Blizzard’s official social media pages.
Remix events are different from other seasonal activities that Blizzard has launched in the past, but they still contain the same content.
Fans will still be able to unlock all the skins normally available during events, with the added bonus of a few remixed Legendary skins.
These won’t be entirely original but will instead offer a spin on Blizzard’s “greatest hits” with promised new looks for the most popular skins released in the past.
Six remixes will be available at each event, and since this is expected to be the last, we can see some very special additions.
Three small event skins will bring in a limited return, but they will be associated with challenges rather than looted chests. Best of all, the brawls will pay off big, with Blizzard confirming earlier this year:
“Just like our standard anniversary events, we will be enabling brawls on a rotating schedule over the next three weeks. Fan favorites like Archives Missions, Lucio Ball, and Mei’s Snowball Challenge will all be back, so be sure to join in and join in on the festivities.”
Some of the returning designs have already been teased by Blizzard via the Remix Vol 3 announcement, and it will be worth keeping an eye on the official Twitter feed over the coming days. That will be when Blizzard shares its latest builds before they hit servers on Tuesday, August 9th.
