Ramy Inocencio Biography

In 2000, Ramy Inocencio was a Peace Corps volunteer in remote Sichuan province, teaching environmental science to college students.

He went on to work for the World Wildlife Fund in Beijing, China Radio International’s national drive-time DJ, and CCTV International’s TV host.

Inocencio has been a member of the Asian-American Journalists Association for many years, serving as president of the AAJA’s Asia chapter, which has 200 members.

 He is a Washington, D.C. native who has spent much of the last 15 years in Asia, including Beijing and Singapore, after first landing in rural Sichuan province as a US Peace Corps volunteer in 2000.
