Beverage product recall due to possible contamination

On July 28, Lyons Magnus announced that it would be recalling 53 drinks from shelves due to potential contamination with Cronobacter sakazakii, according to a company statement.

The company said that no illnesses or complaints had been reported to date, but that they decided to withdraw the drinks due to a group of vulnerable and immunocompromised people who may be at higher risk of infection.

A statement on the FDA’s website reads: “Anyone with a recalled product in their possession or possession must immediately dispose of it or return it to the place of purchase for a refund.

Consumers in all time zones with questions can contact Lyons’ 24/7 Call Back Support Center at 1-800-627-0557, or visit their website at www.lyonsmagnus.com. This recall is conducted in collaboration with the US Food and Drug Administration.

The company said the recalled drinks do not include products intended for infants (under one year).
