Coyote Ugly follows the character of Piper, an ambitious girl who moves to New York City to pursue a career as a musician when she starts working at a Coyote Ugly bar.

Following the film’s success, actress Violet Piper Perabo appeared in several films and series, including Cheaper than Dozen, The Looper, Covert Affairs, and Penny Dreadful: City of Angels.

John Goodman has taken on a number of iconic roles after playing Violet’s father in the film. Some of the movies he has starred in include Storytelling, Beyond the Sea, and Evan Almighty, while he was also a regular presenter on Saturday Night Live.
He received a Primetime Emmy Award for his role as Judge Robert Pepe on Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip.
