Good Morning America (GMA) held a “United States of Burgers” contest, and Houston’s Trill Burgers took the crown earlier today.
The final stage of the competition was held in Times Square in New York, where Trail Burger battled against four competitors from different cities to win the Golden Burger Cup.

Trill Burgers is located in Houston, Texas.
Although there is no official restaurant of their own, food from Trill Burgers is available for purchase at Bored & Hungry, 2405 E 7th St Long Beach, and Rock The Bells Trill Mealz Food Court 8/6.
A burger joint that will give you great food for days, the popular Trill Burger is made with 44 ranch beef, a secret “trail sauce,” pickles and caramelized onions between two halves of a wrapped potato bun.
Although they keep their menu very short and simple, they have vegetarian options to satisfy all diets.

The business was founded in 2021 by American rapper, Bon B. The artist, best known as half of the rap duo UGK, has opened up about creating his own burger company and how he made the leap into the food industry.
“I have been looking for an entry point into the food industry for a while. And they are [Andy Nguyen and Nick Scurfield] He approached me with a concept that was very easy to consistently produce and very easy to scale and replicate. And when I tried the burgers I was like, “That’s like a really good burger,” Bon B told The Breakfast Club.
He also added, “We introduced the product a little over a year ago at the Tastemaker Awards in Houston, the biggest culinary awards for restaurants and chefs in the city, and we had the biggest streak all night, and the momentum just picked up from there.”
In the same interview, Bun B also discussed his brand’s presence at festivals, as Trill Burgers had their own booth at Coachella 2022.
Many celebrities love Trail Burger
Not only has Trill Burgers garnered praise from regular people, but the brand has also been tried by some of the big names you might recognize.
Trill Burgers’ popularity has been increased by several celebrities, including Snoop Dog and former Houston Rockets player James Harden.
Trill Burgers’ followers have drowned out their social media comments on their food.
“Next level of the game,” wrote one Instagram user. Another added, “I have to get one ASAP.”
According to Houston Eater, its brick-and-mortar Trill Burgers will open later this year in Houston. So, keep your eyes peeled…
