The UMAT Admission/Application Portal is opened every year to qualified students who wish to be admitted into the school to study various programmes. Students are considered for Admission based on satisfied and standardized academic records presented by UMAT Academic board for scrutiny.

Yes. The management of University of Mines and Technology, UMAT has made available sandwich courses structured into four intensive modules, spanning four(4) long vacations between the months of May to August. Thus, a period of Twelve (12) Months or Forty-eight (48) weeks

The Diploma courses offered are student friendly and as such students tend to do well in such courses. The Diploms courses at UMAT are offered at the College of Health such as Nursing and Physician Assistantship and even the Department of Nursing.
What is the cut off point for political Science in UMAT ?
Cut-Off Point for the study of Political Science at UMAT is Aggregate Sixteen(16) or better. Those awaiting their WASSCE result can also apply.
