Finn Scully net worth revealed

According to the Celebrity Net Worth portal, Vin Scully has a net worth of $25 million and he has earned an annual salary of $3 million.

Finn, a sports commentator and journalist, was born in 1927 in the Bronx borough of New York City. His father, a silk seller, died of pneumonia when he was only seven years old.

As a young man, the Dodgers anchor spent two years serving in the US Navy.

He began his career as a broadcast student at Fordham University in the Bronx.

During his college days, Finn co-founded Fordham FM radio station, WFUV. He then became an assistant sports editor at The Fordham Ram in his senior year.

The journalist also got involved in the game on the field. He played midfield for the Baseball Rams.

The former Los Angeles Dodgers announcer died at his home in Hidden Hills, Los Angeles.

Finn remained the Dodgers anchor for 67 seasons. He began working with the team in Brooklyn in 1960 and remained with them until 2016 in Los Angeles.

He would always start his broadcasts by saying: “Hello everyone, and a good evening to you wherever you are.”

Over the course of his 67-year career, Finn has become known for his distinctive voice and style of commentary. Over the past few decades, Dodgers players, CEOs, managers, and even owners have kept changing, but Vin has been consistent.

Many fans have taken to Twitter to mourn the passing of Finn Scully.

“This is a devastating and devastating day for L.A. and the world. Finn Scully was the greatest announcer ever. He was just as cute in real life as he was on air. My thoughts are with his family and everyone who loved him,” Molly Knight wrote on Twitter.

“Rest in peace. The baseball community will never forget him” Wrote a second fan.

“Long life. Great announcer. Arguably the second best baseball announcer of all time after Harry Carrey. Legend of RIP,” A third fan said.
