Verdansk’s return is wanted by fans, although there appears to be very little chance of her appearing during Call of Duty Warzone Season 5.
However, while there’s no indication that the level will arrive anytime soon, that hasn’t stopped fans from taking on the task of bringing it back.
And the new petition looking to do so is building the momentum that fans hope to see changes in the future.

Will Verdansk return to Call Of Duty Warzone?
No, Verdansk won’t be returning to Call of Duty Warzone, and developers Raven Software have stated that the current version on PS4, Xbox One, and PC isn’t designed to support map rotation.
So bringing back Verdansk means removing Caldera and giving players another great download to install. And as Raven mentioned, every major download saw player numbers drop, and this may not have been something they had planned to do in 2022.
However, fans hope to convince Activision and Raven that bringing Verdansk back is a good idea.
A new petition has been placed online wanting to see a classic mode released that cuts into WWII content and focuses on Verdansk and modern weapons. The official description explains:
“We are not asking you to destroy the caldera. We are simply asking you to give us options. Give us back your Verdun and modern weapons. Call it Classic Mode or whatever you find appropriate. This is our only wish this Christmas.
“Before Caldera launched, I could personally look forward all day to coming home so I could fly to Verdansk with my team and enjoy many hours of the game. We need that excitement again. We don’t have it with Caldera. We want Verdansk!”
The petition is currently heading for 15,000 signatures, and while it’s unlikely to achieve its goal, it shows how excited fans will be to play Verdansk again before Warzone 2.0 arrives in 2022.
While Verdansk’s return may be off the cards on console, Activision has hinted that it could return to the Call of Duty franchise on a different platform. There is a possibility that a mobile version of Battle Royale will arrive next year that includes Verdansk as a map option.
