Oppenheimer’s first teaser trailer
Yesterday, Universal Pictures released an Oppenheimer special that was included in a frequent live stream on Twitter and YouTube, which revealed the film’s first trailer.
Oppenheimer’s release date has also been confirmed for July 21, 2023, which will leave fans of the director’s work waiting for a year.
The trailer was a mix of fiery photos and some black and white scenes by Cillian Murphy.
What is the Manhattan Project?
The Manhattan Project was established during World War II between 1942 and 1946, including support from the United States, the United Kingdom, and Canada.
J. Robert Oppenheimer directed the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Major General Leslie Groves, took charge of the Loa Alamos Laboratory and was responsible for designing the first nuclear weapons and atomic bombs.
The entire project ended up costing nearly US$2 billion and employing more than 130,000 people, whose research led to the development of two types of atomic bombs and the first detonation of a nuclear weapon at the Trinity Test in 1945.
