The Maga Millions draw will take place at 11 PM ET (10 PM Central / 8 PM Pacific) in Atlanta, Georgia.
While the numbers will be drawn at that time, it will take a few hours for lottery officials to reveal whether or not there is a winner. This means that people will have to wait a little longer to see if there is really a winner.
This lottery drawing happened to be special because it is the third largest prize of any lottery game in the United States. This happened because during the last 29 consecutive drawings there were no matching numbers yet.
So what time can you buy tickets?
You can buy tickets until 10:45 PM EST on Friday, July 29. This means you still have two hours to get these tickets.
If there is no winner on Friday, the prize money will increase and people will have to wait until Tuesday for the next drawing to take place. Drawing takes place every Tuesday and Thursday at the same time.
What is the biggest winning ticket?
This is not the first time that the lottery amount has been this large. In 2018, the lottery jackpot rose to $1.537 billion and was won by a South Carolina woman who was visiting Greenville and decided to buy a ticket to try her luck.
The winner’s name was never revealed as the woman decided not to reveal her identity. She chose the one-time cash option of $877,784,124.
