Evo 2022 will be full of feisty excitement, and this year there is a lot of interest in the new MultiVersus The tournament being hosted.
Hours of new gameplay routines will unfold for the open beta game, which was only widely available less than a month ago.
The good news is that the schedule has been announced, and the first waves and rankings are now available for the Evo 2022 MultiVersus Championship.

When is the Evo 2022 MultiVersus Championship?
The start time of the Top 32 EVO 2022 MultiVersus Championship is set at 3 PM PT (11 PM GMT) on Saturday, August 6, 2022. The event finals will take place at 5 PM PT on the same day.
The first matches of the MultiVersus Championship will take place on August 5 at 10am PDT, with 256 teams of two participating in the $100,000 event hosted by EVO 2022. The prize pool payment is limited to the top 32 eligible teams, who will receive prime broadcast time during Evo 2022.
As part of the programme, the $100,000 Evo MultiVersus Open Beta will be hosted on the competition floor at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas between August 5 and 6.
A message from the Evo Tournament page explains more about how the format works, telling feisty fans this week: “This free-to-entry event will pit you and your epic teammate against the best competition the world has to offer for the first time. An offline meeting of legends. Do you have what it takes to claim your share of the Payouts top 32 prizes and get the glory? Sign up today to reserve your team’s spot.”
MultiVersus has proven popular with fans since its launch in open beta earlier this year, but it’s not without teething issues. There have been a lot of comments regarding some of the strongest and weakest characters in the game. And it looks like a lot of changes are coming soon on all platforms. However, these issues won’t be resolved until after this month’s Evo Championship, which is set to end on August 6.
