The Toronto Police Department would like to make the public aware that a man has been arrested in connection with three bank robberies.
Between Friday 24 June 2022 and Saturday 9 July 2022, police responded to three robbery calls in the Fashion District, Beaches and Wellesley Church District.
It is claimed that:
- In every incident, the bank man entered the bank hiding his identity and approached the bank teller
- Then the man hands the employee a note indicating that this is a burglary and asks for a large amount of money
- In two incidents, the man took a quantity of cash and paper before fleeing the scene
- In the other incident, the man fled the scene with only a note

The members of Hold Up launched an investigation and were able to identify the man.
On Thursday, July 14, 2022, Hold Up investigators located the man and took him into custody. The officers executed a search warrant at the man’s home.
It is further claimed that:
- At the time of the arrest, the man was found in possession of a handgun made of pellets, glasses, a wig, and a handwritten note of comment.
- At the man’s home, officers recovered the clothes the suspect had worn during the robberies, and a note and belongings the man had used during the robberies.
