Vancouver police in Canada shared a video of a 40-year-old girl standing with her young child. It reveals the sudden second when they both fall to the bottom.
Police say the mother hit her head on the sidewalk while she and her baby were standing in East Bender, near Gore Avenue. The child received some cuts and scrapes. Officers say that at approximately 10:45 a.m. on July 9, a report of a shirtless man was known to be wandering by site visitors and kicking cars.
Complaint David Kelly, 27, was stalked by the police because of one thing that happened earlier. He bumped again into the lady and the child, and they both hit the ground. When the mother and child were thrown to the bottom, stunned passersby ran to their aid, while Kelly, who had nothing, saved the operation. Police say Kelly kicked a car so hard that it hit one of the many driveways.
Vancouver police posted the video of the occasion on Twitter. According to Castanet, Sgt. Steve Addison stated, “This assault occurred in a crowded neighborhood, and was observed by a few dozen individuals.” “We’ve spoken to some witnesses, but we’re still collecting evidence, and we’d like to hear from others who noticed or heard what happened,” he said.
Vancouver police initially took him to prison, but after charging him with assault, assault and obstruction of a peace officer, they released him. Kelly did not appear on the court schedule on July 12, when he allegedly did. Police didn’t discover Kelly until Thursday, July 21, and arrested him after a witness noticed him in the information and reported to a Vancouver police officer who was touring the neighborhood. He was sent back to prison, and the police stated that they were nevertheless trying to get to Kelly’s alleged position in several crimes that took place in downtown East and Chinatown on the morning of July 9.
Additionally, individuals on Twitter responded to the video and stated their opinion of it. One person stated, “It’s a pretty good worker that David Kelly wasn’t complaining about driving, or the note was ‘a street rat driver with a passenger kills a baby.’” Another person asked on Twitter, “Why would the VPD need additional witnesses to a proven assault? clearly on the video?” One might assume that the police should call witnesses to tell them where the complaint of David Kelly, the alleged attacker, is. Another tweeted, “Great looking for David Kelly’s complaint and putting an end to his prison career.”
