Beyoncé on a “glass” horse in the Renaissance

Fans can’t stop talking about Beyoncé’s eye-catching photos from her new album Renaissance.

In several different photo sessions, Queen B was seen on a transparent horse and shaped glass, dressed in revealing clothes.

Loyal fans of the Destiny’s Child member will know that horses have been central to many of her music videos, including Run The World (Girls) and Daddy Lessons.

Speaking about her album, Queen B explained in a previous Instagram post: “Creating this album has given me a place where I dream and find escape during a time frightening for the world. It allowed me to feel free and adventurous at a time when few people were on the move.”

“My intention was to create a place of safety, a place free of judgment. A place devoid of perfection and overthinking. A place to scream, release and feel free. It was a beautiful exploration trip. I hope you find joy in this music. I hope it inspires you to launch wiggle. Ha! And to feel as unique, strong, and sexy as you are.”

The singer graces the July cover of British Vogue as her photoshoot includes more photos with horses.

Why the “glass” horse hints at a new era of music

A number of fans believe the inspiration behind Queen B’s horse image comes from Bianca Jagger’s famous image on a white horse inside Studio 54.

One Twitter user explained: “Beyoncé’s album artwork is a nod to Bianca Jagger’s photo on a horse at Studio 54 taken in 1977, the era of disco and house music, and if you don’t know by now you know.”

The Renaissance includes many disco-inspired tracks and Studio 54 is a club that became an iconic site during the disco era of the 1970s.

Now, many fans believe that Queen B’s horse installation heralds a whole new music era for her future projects.

We are definitely excited.
