WHY NTC AND GES MUST BE DISSOLVED THIS YEAR
Few years ago, the Ministry of Education introduced the concept of teacher licensure examination where graduates from the various universities and colleges had to write and pass the said examination as part of conditions for a scuccessful recruitment into the service.
But then, story is a bit different with regards to this years’ examination, as several of the graduates who sat for the MAY 2021 GTLE have failed massively.
Several of the graduates bemoaned the cruel nature of NTC and GES for having deliberately failed as they knew they would pass this years’ licensing exam.

This is where the actual problem is, to National Teaching Council
After releasing results of this years’ licensure exams with old centres of especially resit candidates, NTC went on to change the centres to their new centers, creating doubts and uncertainties about the credibility of the results.
I feel so much pain when things about the beautiful future of our youths are going out of hand and this is a miscarriage of justice and fairness in our society.
It is high time NTC, GES and other educational stakeholders stand up and do the right thing.
