An Indiana woman has fallen victim to a TikTok trend called the ‘Kia Challenge’ after someone broke into her car, Fox 59 reports.
Social media users started reporting the “Kia Challenge” after the trend resulted in the destruction of one of the women’s car.
If users watch any videos associated with the indicator, they will be reminded to report it immediately.

A woman had her valuables stolen and her car damaged after a recent trend called the ‘Kia Challenge’ surfaced on TikTok, Indy100 reports.
The trend sees social media users trying to start a Kia car engine with a USB cable. However, viewers are reminded not to participate in this type of challenge and to immediately report videos linked to the index.
The challenge appears to have started from a video showing someone successfully starting the engine using a USB charger.
Attempting to start a vehicle in this way seems very dangerous, even to trained personnel, and may result in injury.
Women fall victim to the challenge
An Indiana woman, Alyssa Smart, fell victim to the “Kia Challenge” after someone broke into her car and stole her valuables, Fox 59 reported.
“I was scared, worried and confused about how someone could see two car seats, a diaper bag, and still commit such a brutal act,” Alyssa told the publication.
Alyssa claimed that she suspected the teens were behind the break-in, however, there is no information yet to support this claim. She said she was expecting an exorbitant bill for her car repair.
She continued, “I cannot afford to repair my car, which leaves me and my child without our only means of transportation. Not to mention they stole my wallet which included my ID and my children’s medical cards with their full names and date of birth. I feel violated and scared.”
