When will the summer update for GTA Online be released?
Rockstar Games has confirmed that the release date for the new GTA Online Summer 2022 update is Tuesday, July 26, 2022. This will be a consolidated release, meaning that players across all platforms will get access on the same day.
The Grand Theft Auto development team hasn’t shared an exact time when things will start, but fans are expecting a scheduled release time of 10am BST in the UK.
This is the time when Rockstar Games chose to release earlier versions of the content and it has been part of the regular format for quite some time. The Grand Theft Auto development team has also shared several details regarding what the new downloadable content for criminal enterprises will contain.
New vehicles being added to the game are always building hype, and GTA fans have already discovered many variants that will be available for purchase. This includes a new military helicopter featured in the recently released trailer, along with in-game versions of the Mercedes-McLaren, Chevy Sema Concept, a new Countach design, and an additional BF Weevil rat rod.
Rockstar Games hasn’t named any of the new vehicles featured in the Criminal Enterprises trailer, but has revealed that there will be new Tuners vehicles, with Benny Original Motor Works making it possible to work on additional vehicles.
A message from the GTA Online team has also confirmed that at least one new vehicle will be exclusive to next-generation platforms, which means players currently playing on PS4 and Xbox One consoles will miss out.
Other features developed by Rockstar Games include: “The Criminal Enterprises is a comprehensive update that brings new missions and upgrades to GTA Online including major expansions to the business horizons of criminal jobs, as well as new and detailed communication missions with players serving as sworn agents for IAA and more Lots starting July 26th.”
This means that most of the career paths open to players that have been added over the past few years have been added in some way. For executives, Special Cargo will come to fill empty shelves, and a new option will be added to help generate additional revenue. This will include special daily shipments of merchandise outside your warehouse, packed and ready for delivery to the docks.
Drivers will notice that their custom bike shop gets an in-house upgrade, where MC bosses will be able to modify customers’ bikes to specifications and deliver them to customers for GTA$ and RP. Meanwhile, Gunrunners will be able to make daily deliveries to Ammu-Nation stores, and access new resupply missions.
