Beyoncé’s Renaissance album leak angers Beyhive fans days before release

Tracks from Beyoncé’s comeback album “Renaissance” were leaked two days before its release. Fans are now “resisting” listening to the leaked singles. As the most loyal fanbase, Beyhive spoke out.

Six years later, famous singer Beyoncé is back with a solo album. For the past two months, the former Destiny’s Child member has teased her own Renaissance album.

With 16 songs set to be released, the likes of hubby Jay-Z, Drake, Pharrell, and Tems are artists fans expect to hear across the tracks.

However, the singer fell victim to the leakage of parts of the album on social media, two days before its release. Something that her most famous and loyal fan base, BeyHive, wouldn’t accept.

After counting down the months until the official release, and now only a few hours away, the 40-year-old singer has fallen victim to several leaked records.

According to multiple media reports – and Twitter – songs from the Renaissance period have started to go viral on the social media app. This made many fans listen to the tracks and pass them on to others for them to access.

Although it’s unclear who leaked Bey’s album, according to the Los Angeles Times, Twitter has disabled multimedia tweets that included the word “leak” and the hashtags “Beyoncé” and “Renaissance.” This came in response to the intervention of Team Bey and the most trusted fan club BeyHive to get them off the internet.

Beyhive doesn’t accept it and now fans ‘resist’

Beyoncé’s fan club, called Beyhive, expressed their disappointment and anger towards fans who listened and posted the songs online. One member sent warnings that these would be “dealt with” as they are not “real fans or part of the cell” if the leak appeared on fan pages.

One fan wrote on Instagram: “It’s been 6 years. Another 2 days, only 30 hours left to wait and you guys can’t do that?!?! You tell me you can wait 6 years, but not 30 days***h. Crazy. It’s Disrespect for Beyoncé and her hard work. Two years of it.”

The fan went on to explain that the release date was meant to be so that everyone could stream it “together.” Also, the day was chosen for a reason and “on purpose.”

They urged fans to wait until the official release date to “experience rebirth together.”

She concluded: “You won’t break our souls but we will break ours!!! Stop this disgusting dropouts doing. Not for us, because you claim that idol and role model, even though you don’t respect it. Think about it. All that’s left of the cell Let’s celebrate together on the 29th and have the Renaissance.”

Naturally, the message went viral. Many Bey fans started tweeting messages while holding on to “resisting” listening to the leaks. They urged other fans to do the same.

‘4’ album leaked in the past and Beyoncé spoke out

“Renaissance” isn’t the only album the Break My Soul singer had to deal with prior to its release date. Eleven years ago, Beyoncé’s full album “4” was heard three weeks before its release date.

The 29-year-old singer stated on MTV News to express her disappointment at the time.

“My music was leaked and although I didn’t want to present my new songs in this way, I appreciate the positive response from my fans,” she told the news outlet.

And Beyoncé continued, “When I record music, I always think of fans singing to every beat and dancing to every beat. I make music to make people happy and I appreciate that everyone was so eager to hear my new songs.”

According to HuffPost, two years later, a Swedish man was sued for $233.00. He was accused of leaking the singer’s album online to 4 Torrent sites before its original release date.

Her album “4” included the hit songs Run The World (Girls), “Best Thing I Never” and “End Of Time”.
