A number of unexpected revelations about the 2021 incident surfaced during the current hearings on January 6, and former Trump ally Katrina Pearson testified yesterday.
Pearson and Brad Parscale, former aides to Trump, were seen texting each other during the committee meeting on Tuesday, July 12.
The two are noted to discuss the January 6, 2021 uprising in texts reviewed throughout the case.

Pearson’s pre-recorded evidence was among the highlights of Tuesday’s hearing.
The House committee displayed emails and texts from Katrina during the hearing, in which she expressed concern about the rally. According to Business Insider, she has expressed her disapproval of speakers such as conspiracy theorist Alex Jones and CEO of Stop The Steal Ali Alexander whom she deemed “highly suspect.”

“There was a bunch of entities coming in. Some of them were very suspicious,” Pearson said, explaining that she was referring to Jones and Alexander.
Trump “likes madmen,” and I heard Pearson say in her recorded testimony that Trump “loves madmen.” “He likes people who… would be very fierce in his public defense.”
