It’s August now, which means a new community day, and a whole new batch of events, New raid and group From new Spotlight watches, including the Hisuian Voltorb.
Events include the Bug-focused Bug Out event, the 2022 Pokemon World Championships event, and the grand finale of this year’s Pokemon GO Fest.
Besides this, there are a total of five different Spotlight Hours featuring Nidoran Female, Joltik, Nidoran Male, Pidove and of course, Hisuian Voltorb.
Since it comes first, let’s take a look at if Hisuian Voltorb can shine during the first Spotlight Hour in August and what rewards and rewards you can earn.

Spotlight Hour details on August 1st
As mentioned earlier, the first Spotlight Hour in August features Hisuian Voltorb, a Pokemon that was added to Pokemon GO to coincide with the release of Pokemon Legends: Arceus on the Nintendo Switch.
The event takes place on Tuesday, June 2 at 6 p.m. local time, and runs for a full hour. During this time, Hisuian Voltorb will appear more frequently than usual.
Players will want to catch as many as possible during this time as they will be greeted with 2x Stardust Bonus For every Pokemon they catch.
Does Hesoyuan Voltorpe Shine During Spotlight Hour on August 1st?
Unfortunately for the shiny hunters out there, the shiny Hisuian Voltorb will not be available during this week’s Spotlight Hour.
The only Hisuian Pokemon to have released its illustrious version so far is the Hisuian Braviary, which was launched as part of the Day of the Raid special last weekend.
It’s possible that Niantic has plans to hold back the illustrious Hesoyuan Voltorp for some sort of future event.
